DAVID SOLID GOULD AND THE TEMPLE ROCKERS

The Temple Rockers are spearheaded by multi-instrumentalist/producer, David Solid Gould. David is the former bassist for the popular roots reggae and dub group, John Brown's Body. The Temple Rockers features an all-star cast of musicians from around the Northeast United States including members of John Brown's Body and 10 ft Ganja Plant among others.

David's first album"Adonai and I" was released in September of 2001 on I-Town Records.

A dub remix of the CD David Gould "Adonai in Dub" was released the same year on John Zorn's Tzadik Records.

David's sophomore release on Tzadik, Feast of the Passover, was released in OCT 2009. The album is charting on world music and reggae charts across the United States, hitting #23 on the JAZZWEEK top 100 World Music albums in November.

Feast of the Passover features many of David's associates, the critically-acclaimed Romanian saxophone player Yuri Yunakov, the legendary Leonard "Sparrow" Dillon (of the Ethiopians) and the Silvertones on vocals. Incredibly varied and spiritually-inspired music connecting the Rasta and Jewish traditions through the miracle of music.

The Temple Rockers are crossing over genres to emerge as a new force in Reggae and World Music.
