Justin Hinds and John Brown's Body Rehearsal Recordings from July 17 2002

 

I just dusted off this old four track cassette after ten years in storage.

In my final summer of shows with John Brown Body in 2002, we backed up the late great Justin Hinds for a two week tour. A live CD featuring our performance at the 2002 Fingerlakes Grasroots Festival was recorded and is still available. Here are the best takes from our rehearsals together out in the country outside of Ithaca, NY. The vibes were ultra high!!!

The Reggae master from 'Adonai in Dub' returns to Tzadik with another fascinating program of Jewish music- Reggae style.
